  1. In an effort to combat air pollution, Beijing is supposedly banning the use of coal in six of its main districts by 2020.

 

  1. If the United States continue to use coal at the same rate in which they do today, they have a supply which will last for another 235 years remaining in the mines. Once this is depleted, coal is no longer available as a fuel.
